We are particularly keen to encourage all our patients who smoke to cease, advice and support is available from our Health Visitor Sarah Edwards. Appointments are available with Sarah in the smoking cessation clinic on a Monday afternoon/evening. Sarah will offer you a tailored programme to help you quit and can prescribe various stop smoking treatments to help you kick the habit.
Patients may self refer into this clinic by contacting us for an appointment. Studies have shown that people who attend smoking cessation clinics have a better chance of giving up and remaining non-smokers than those who try to give up on their own. So even if you've tried before and failed, it's worth trying again with our help.
