Dr Iain Lyons
Gender: Male
Primary qualifications: BMedSci, MBBS, MRCS (Eng 2006), MRCGP
I was born and brought up in London, and trained at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine. After graduating, I went down the surgical route, gaining membership to The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2006, and then specialising in Plastic surgery.
However, this was not the life for me and so I retrained as a GP in Ipswich, finishing in 2014. Since then I have had the privilege of working as a locum in many different practices around Ipswich and Colchester, and am thrilled to be settled in Hadleigh.
I have a special interest in diabetes and minor surgery. Outside of work I enjoy photography and woodworking, and spending time with my wife and 2 children.
